Welcome to Let's Sew Club! These terms govern your use of our website and participation in our creative sewing classes for children. By booking a session or using our services, you agree to these terms.

About Our Service

Let's Sew Club provides creative sewing workshops for children aged 6 and above. Classes are led by a qualified instructor with an MA in Social Work, enhanced DBS clearance, and professional sewing training from UAL.

Booking & Payment

• Booking: All bookings are subject to availability and must be made through our website or by contacting us directly.
• Payment: Payment is required to confirm your booking. We accept bank transfers.
• Confirmation: Your place is not secured until payment is received and booking is confirmed.
• Price: Current session prices are displayed on our website. Prices are per child, per day session.

Cancellation Policy

• 14+ days notice: Full refund
• 7-13 days notice: 50% refund or credit for future session
• Less than 7 days: No refund, but we'll try to offer an alternative date where possible
• Cancellation by us: Full refund if we cancel a session for any reason

Child Safety & Supervision

Your child's safety is our top priority:

• All sessions are supervised by our DBS-checked instructor
• Child-safe tools and equipment are used at all times
• A low child-to-instructor ratio is maintained
• First aid equipment is available on site
• Emergency contact information must be provided at booking

Medical Information

Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs at the time of booking. This information helps us ensure your child's safety and wellbeing during sessions.

Behaviour Expectations

We expect all children to:

• Follow safety instructions from the instructor
• Treat other children, staff, and equipment with respect
• Use sewing tools only as directed

We reserve the right to exclude a child from a session if their behaviour puts themselves or others at risk. In such cases, no refund will be given.

Photography & Media

With your consent (given at booking), we may photograph or video children during sessions for promotional purposes on our website and social media. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.

Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure safety, Let's Sew Club cannot be held liable for minor injuries that may occur during normal sewing activities. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is fit to participate.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and designs, is the property of Let's Sew Club and may not be reproduced without permission. Children keep all items they create during sessions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
